Tea Party Success Could Translate to Online Casino Freedoms Voters backing Tea Party candidates are showing politicians they want less government intrusion, a shift that should greatly benefit fans and operators of online casinos.

The recent triumphs by Tea Party-backed candidates in primary elections may bode well for online casino operators. Tea Party members are united by a desire for less intrusive government, certainly a key factor in the campaign to allow online gambling.
As documented by Rich Muny, social conservatives in the Republican Party are concerned with the libertarian bent of Tea Party protests. The conservatives, largely organized along fundamentalist religious principles, fear that Tea Party leaders will advocate a return to protection of individual freedom rather than using government to force a lifestyle on others.
Such prominent figures as Dick Armey and George Will, both Tea Party icons, have publicly pushed for the right to choose Internet gaming for entertainment. Now Rand Paul has won the Republican Senate nomination in Kentucky, showing the US that voters desire smaller government that stays out of their lives.
While many Democrats support the regulation of online casinos for the massive revenue potential, only a few have acknowledged Barney Frank's assertion that people have the right to make their own decisions, and that there is a wide gap between what should be illegal and what is officially endorsed.
"The Tea Party message is really one that we've got to get back control of our government," Paul told Fox News. "Washington needs some restraint."
With Big Government politicians in trouble on both sides of the aisle, Internet gambling and online casinos may soon have more allies to add to the growing cause for individual liberties.
